Aplicación y características
Los cables de instrumentación Southwire tipo PLTC conforme a UL 13 y tipo ITC conforme a UL 2250 son adecuados para instalaciones como se describe en el artículo 336 del NEC para control de procesos e instrumentación, circuitos de control para operación e interconexión de dispositivos de protección y señalización y para uso general en sistemas de distribución industrial, manufacturero y comercial. Los cables se construyen con conductores de cobre cableado de 7 hilos aislados con PVC. Los conductores apareados están coloreados negro, blanco e impresos alfanuméricos. El conjunto completo está cubierto con papel de aluminio/poliéster con cobertura del 100% y un conductor de drenaje estañado. El cable es apto para uso en charolas portacables, canalizaciones, tubo conduit, aéreo (cuando está soportado con un mensajero). El cable está clasificado para -30°C a 105°C y clasificado para lugares peligrosos clase I división II, y resistente a la luz solar. La cubierta es PVC negro con cordón de nylon para fácil remoción.
