The Milbank K4800-D is a 200 ampere E-Z Read digital meter kit used to convert an unmetered Millennium series enclosure to a metered configuration. Electricians use this kit when a mobile home, RV, or similar Millennium-series service needs a digital meter socket added or upgraded. The kit is a 4-terminal ring-type meter socket with an underground cable entry and a 1-inch hub closing plate, built from G90 galvanized steel with a powder-coat finish and glass polyester insulation. It has no main breaker and no bypass provision, includes a triplex equipment ground, and accepts line and load side conductors from 12 AWG up to 1 AWG. It is rated for 600 volts alternating current, single phase, with a single meter position, and measures 8.5 inches on each side. It is UL Listed and carries a NEMA Type 3R rating for outdoor use. A manufacturer spec sheet is available for installers who need full mounting dimensions before adding this kit to a Millennium series enclosure.
