The Milbank 444-SC3R-NK is a screw cover steel enclosure that measures 4x4x4 in. and carries a NEMA type 3R rating. It carries UL Listing. Contractors use a small outdoor enclosure like this to house splices, terminal blocks, or control components exposed to rain or outdoor conditions. The enclosure body is built of G90 galvanized steel with a powder-coat finish and finished in an ANSI 61 gray finish. It ships with no factory knockouts, so conduit entries are cut in the field to suit the installation, or the enclosure is used where a flush surface is preferred. A quad-D knockout is provided for a keyed cylinder lock or padlock hasp, which lets the installation be secured after wiring is complete. A drip-shield top is built in to shed water when the enclosure is mounted outdoors. It is designed for wall mounting. This item is listed under Milbank's SC3R product family in the Screw Cover Enclosures line, with a unit of measure of each.
