Intermatic WP1250MXD is a die-cast aluminum in-use weatherproof cover for a double-gang electrical box, mounted in the vertical orientation. It is built to Intermatic's extra-duty line of in-use covers. An electrician uses this cover to protect an outdoor or exposed receptacle, switch, or other device while equipment stays plugged in, since in-use covers close over the device and any connected cord rather than requiring the cord to be removed. As stated for this item, the cover has a depth of 4.625", a gray finish. The WP1250MXD is sold each and is listed under Intermatic's Weatherproof Covers subcategory within the wiring devices product family.
