Intermatic WHAVQ4 is a 24-hour water heater timer rated for 120-240 volt, auto-voltage operation with a 40 amp SPDT/DPDT switching mechanism. An electrician installs this timer on a water heater branch circuit to run the heater on a repeating 24-hour on/off schedule.
