The Intermatic RC4G is a 1 inch air button designed for gunite pool and spa installations, with a stated range of 100 feet. It is the deck-mounted push-button that a bather presses to send a pneumatic signal through connected air tubing to a control unit or air switch mechanism elsewhere on the property. Pool and spa contractors install a gunite-rated air button like the RC4G where the pool deck or coping is built from gunite construction, since the button is sized and configured for that mounting application.
