The Intermatic RC2163BFE is a remotely operated combination control system for pool and spa equipment, built with integrated circuit breakers and auxiliary control capability. It is designed to let pool and spa functions be operated remotely rather than requiring manual operation at the equipment pad alone. Pool and spa contractors and electricians install a combination control system like the RC2163BFE where a job calls for centralized control of multiple pool or spa functions, along with the circuit breaker protection for those circuits built into the same panel. The auxiliary control function allows an additional piece of equipment, beyond the primary pump and spa functions, to be operated from the same system. As a combination unit that integrates breakers, remote operation, and auxiliary control, the RC2163BFE is intended for pool and spa installations where consolidating these functions into a single control system simplifies the equipment pad wiring compared to separate standalone controls.
