The Intermatic PJB4175 is a pool and spa junction box built for 4-light connections. It gives an installer an enclosed point to join lighting circuit conductors for up to four pool or spa fixtures, keeping those connections contained rather than spliced in the open. Electricians and pool contractors working on pool or spa lighting installations use this junction box where a job calls for more than one or two fixtures fed from a common connection point. Its 4-light capacity makes it suited to larger pool lighting layouts than the 2-light version in the same Intermatic line. The PJB4175 is intended to be installed alongside the fixtures, transformers, and other components of a pool or spa lighting circuit, giving the contractor a dedicated, purpose-built enclosure for the wiring connections on that circuit.
