The Intermatic PJB2175 is a pool and spa junction box built for 2-light connections. It provides an enclosed wiring point for connecting pool or spa lighting circuits, keeping splice connections contained and protected as part of the overall lighting installation. Electricians and pool contractors use a junction box like the PJB2175 at the point where low-voltage or line-voltage lighting conductors from pool or spa fixtures are joined to the circuit feeding them. Because it is built specifically for pool and spa lighting, it is sized and configured to accommodate connections for two separate lights. As a component in an Intermatic pool and spa lighting system, the PJB2175 is intended to be paired with the fixtures, transformers, or other wiring devices used on the same job, giving the installer a dedicated enclosure for the light connections rather than relying on a generic junction box.
