The Intermatic PF1112T is a freeze protection control center built around the Intermatic T104M timer mechanism and a thermostat, designed for 240V pool and spa applications. It packages timed control of pool or spa equipment together with automatic freeze protection in one control center. Pool and spa contractors and electricians use this type of control center to manage equipment run times on a set schedule while also guarding against freeze damage during cold snaps. The T104M timer handles the scheduled operation, and the thermostat monitors temperature and calls for equipment to run when freezing conditions are detected, helping prevent ice damage to plumbing and pumps. The control center is housed in a Type 3R metal enclosure, which is built for outdoor exposure, making it appropriate for mounting at an outdoor pool equipment pad. Because it is rated for 240V service, it fits typical residential and light commercial pool and spa circuits.
