The Intermatic KPT0170-015 is a PowerTap receptacle built for always-on operation. PowerTap Receptacle, 7-Pin, C136.41 Compliant, Always-On, 15' cable. It gives an electrician a pre-wired tap point on a photocontrol receptacle base, used to power auxiliary equipment mounted on the same pole or fixture as the photocontrol, such as cameras, communication equipment, or other accessories that need a separate circuit. Built to the ANSI C136.41 pin pattern, it mounts into the standard locking photocontrol receptacle base found on area and roadway lighting fixtures, and a 15 ft cable routes power down to the connected device without additional field wiring at the receptacle itself. This PowerTap is part of Intermatic's Photocontrols line, supplied as a single each unit for outdoor pole and fixture-mounted lighting control applications.
