The Intermatic K171H is a twist-lock photocontrol receptacle with dimming capability, used to connect a photocontrol to outdoor lighting fixtures. Locking Type Receptacle, 7-Pin, C136.41 Compliant, 12" lead. It gives an electrician a standardized, twist-and-lock connection point so a compatible photocontrol can be installed or swapped without hard-wiring, which speeds up both new installations and field replacements on area and roadway lighting. The ANSI C136.41 pin pattern means the receptacle is built to the ANSI standard for photocontrol interfaces, so it accepts photocontrols and shorting caps built to the same standard. A 12 in factory lead is provided for wiring into the fixture or luminaire junction box. This receptacle is part of Intermatic's Photocontrols line, used across pole-mounted and fixture-mounted outdoor lighting applications where a locking photocontrol connection is required.
