The Intermatic K122 is a twist-lock photocontrol receptacle with an integrated pole mounting bracket, used to connect a photocontrol to outdoor lighting fixtures. Locking Type Receptacle, 3-Pin, C136.10 Compliant, with Pole Mounting Bracket. It gives an electrician a standardized, twist-and-lock connection point so a compatible photocontrol can be installed or swapped without hard-wiring, which speeds up both new installations and field replacements on area and roadway lighting. The ANSI C136.10 pin pattern means the receptacle is built to the ANSI standard for photocontrol interfaces, so it accepts photocontrols and shorting caps built to the same standard.
