Intermatic FF12H10 is a spring-wound countdown timer mechanism rated 125-277 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single-pole, single-throw (SPST), with a 12-hour maximum run time, without hold. This item is the timer mechanism only, sold without a wall plate or housing, for contractors and electricians replacing the working mechanism inside an existing spring-wound timer switch or building a timer assembly from component parts. A spring-wound timer of this type is turned by hand to the desired countdown position and mechanically runs back down, switching the connected load off at the end of the set interval without any external power source for the timing function itself.
