The Intermatic ELC4136 is a NightFox stem mount electronic photocontrol. It mounts in enclosures or fixtures and is ideal for high-efficiency, long-life LED luminaires. A photocontrol of this type is installed by an electrician on outdoor lighting equipment so the connected luminaire switches on automatically as daylight fades and off again at dawn, without a separate timer or manual switch. This model is built for long-life, high-efficiency LED loads, which draw differently at switch-on than the older lamp types some photocontrols were originally designed around.
