The Intermatic EK4236S is a NightFox electronic photocontrol built in a stem and swivel mount configuration. It is rated 120-277V and is used to switch outdoor lighting loads on and off based on ambient daylight. An electrician installs a photocontrol like the EK4236S on area, roadway, or building-mounted luminaires so the fixture turns on at dusk and off at dawn without a separate timer or manual switch. The stem and swivel mount design determines how the unit mounts to the fixture or enclosure it controls. The EK4236S is part of Intermatic's photocontrols product family within the controls and timers category, carries UPC 078275146303, and a manufacturer spec sheet is available for this model.
