The Intermatic EI500C is a 7-day standard programmable timer built to install in a wall box in place of a switch. It is rated 125VAC at 15A and lets the user program on and off times that repeat on a weekly schedule. A 7-day in-wall timer of this type is used to automate lighting or other switched loads on a schedule that can differ by day of the week, rather than the single repeating on/off cycle of a basic countdown timer.
